Special Engagements–Chris Grey

Hawaii School of Photography is extremely proud to announce that Chris Grey is coming to town!

Come along as two of the most renowned photographic educators team up for unique weekend of lecture and hands on learning! The seminar will feature an interactive lecture followed by a three hour shoot. The class will be held on Saturday, February 18th from 9AM to 6PM and in my Downtown Studio on Nuuanu Avenue. Tuition for this amazing workshop is only $350.00 plus tax for all students (regularly $450.00). A minimum of 5 students is needed and the class is limited to 10 students so register now!

Chris Grey is an international award winning photographer, author of twelve physical books, five eBooks, and hundreds of articles and blog posts about photography in general and lighting in particular. He’s taught workshops and classes in Italy, England and the Mainland, and will be a guest instructor at WPPI in Las Vegas two days after this workshop concludes here in Honolulu.

Over the course of his long career he’s shot national advertisements for Target, The Home Depot, the Dairy Association (Got Milk?), and many other large concerns. His work has been published in many national magazines, including Communication Arts and Penthouse.

It might be difficult to find an instructor with a deeper understanding of light and how to make it do what you see in your mind’s eye. Chris is an engaging personality with a wry sense of humor, and I know you’ll enjoy learning from him.
