Taking it to the streets: 8 hour seminar that will emphasize outdoor lighting and photographing models outdoors. Seminar includes a three hour shoot with one of Oahu’s top models. Topics include:

Modifying sunlight
Open shade
Scrims and reflectors
Using strobes
Quality of light issues

Controlling your backdrop with strobes

Inverse square law
Changing the power setting on your strobe
Changing your shutter speed

Combine sunlight with scrims and strobes to create the light you want
Sunsets as a backdrop

Course Notes: This is an intermediate level class. Participants are expected to possess a working knowledge of the basics of photography. Participants must be 18 years of age or older. Classes are limited to 10 students and will be held on a Saturday from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM (The live shoot will begin at 3:30 PM). Bring a lunch and plan to work while eating! (Times may vary depending on when the sun sets).

Fees: Seminar: $200.00 Model Fees: $60.00 Total Fees: $260.00 plus $12.25 GET. A $100.00 deposit is required to reserve your space in the class. Participants are responsible for their own film and processing and/or digital processing.
