Photography 1–Introduction to Digital Photography (Film Photographers Welcome)

“Aloha,

I want to express my gratitude to Stephen Dantzig concerning the Photography 101, 4 session course. I started taking photography seriously for over 7 years now and have read and studied plenty during that time. However, nothing could take the place of a Master Photographer who has the insight, knowledge, experience and more importantly (for me) the patience to teach as does Mr. Dantzig. His willingness to share his many years of advanced photography is a blessing to me and I am sure will be so for all futher photographers, be they new, experienced or professional “photobugs.”

I highly recommend this course to everyone who wants to further his or her knowledge of photography and use of thier camera equipment, be it a Point and Shoot or High End DSLR Camera.

–Robert”

Comments from former students:

The class was helpful and provided some very useful insight into the world of digital photography. I now know that I can use the camera as an artistic tool and with practice, I’ll continue to find new and different ways to “paint with light.” In striving to become a true photographer, the class gave me the basic tools from which to build on, learn from and perfect.”

–Brett

“This introductory class provided me the basic skills and understanding of photography that I struggle so long on my own to achieve. I was immediately taking quality, if not artistic, shots utilizing only the manual functionality of my camera – something I was unable to do successfully in the past. I highly recommend this class given from a very high quality instructor.” –Rian Thomas
